Antique Tiffany Studios Desk Set. 8 Piece Set Includes: Letter Rack (large) Inkwell (large w/ original glass insert, beaded) Card Case (double) Pen Rack, Note Pad, Calendar Frame (beaded) Pen Wipe (original brush) & Letter Opener. All pieces are comprised of patinated bronze and green slag glass.
The note pad has beautiful swirls of purple as well. All of the pieces are stamped "Tiffany Studios / New York" along with their individual corresponding inventory numbers (see photo #10 for example). The card case appears to be unmarked. Condition: Very Good-Excellent overall condition with a gorgeous, rich patina throughout all of the pieces. The stand for the calendar frame is not present, the pen rack has a crack in the glass and one hook (lower right) has been repaired, the glass insert for the inkwell has some minor chips around the interior edge as well as some light, standard wear indicative of age throughout the set. Please review all photos to fully evaluate condition.
This set was recently acquired from the estate of Harlan O. Stockton (Long Lake, MN) a longtime collector and dealer of fine art and antiques. With the simple addition of blotter ends this will make for an exquisite "Pine Needle" desk set.
