BEAUTIFUL TIFFANY FAVRILE PASTEL ART GLASS, AQUA OPALESCENT FOOTED DISH

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a STUNNING Tiffany Pastel Art Glass footed dish or sherbet, c. Measures 2 1/4" high with a top diameter of 4 7/8" and base diameter of 2 3/4. This piece has an unusual bowl shape as it raises upward in tiers to the slightly scalloped wide upper rim.

The pinwheel or "spoke" design in the glass features internal opalescent panels that widen as they expand in width from the center of the dish as they reach the top edge. The background glass is a lovely aqua color and the bowl sits on a white opalescent base that also has the pinwheel design. Tiffany "Pastel" glass is definitely hard to find and this dish is an outstanding example of this type glass produced by one of the most famous and desired names in Art Glass from the early 1900's. This beautiful Tiffany dish is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The color is absolutely fabulous!
