BLENKO Blue Bubble Glass Decanter 15.5 Ball Stopper Etched Label Design #6040

Available for sale is this Blenko Blue Bubble Glass Decanter Part of the Vineryard line created by Wayne Husted in the early 1960's I believe the shade of blue is referred to as Turquoise Sandblasted Blenko on the bottom. Now for the downside it appears the stopper has previously been broken and glued and then broken again when I asked my husband if he could get the stopper out.

His method was clever, he used a hair dryer to apply heat and potentially melt away any residual liquid that was sticking to the stopper. Well, as it turns out, he melted the glue, which in turn loosened the stopper at the original break point. It's possible the broken part of the stopper can be removed and the ball stopper used as it is, with a little polishing, of course.
