Durand Tray Pulled Feathers 4 Colors Diamond Cut Blue Over Clear One Of A Kind. This serving tray is a one of a kind piece of glass from Durand Art Glass.
I aquired this piece many years ago from the Martin Bach Jr family. It was made for Bach when he took over management for Victor Durand. Martin Bach formally from his family's Quezal Art Glass also worked at Imperial Glass Co.
I was fortunate to get several pieces of Durand from Martin Bach's daughter "Gladys Bach Wells" long after he passed away. This tray has never been for sale, it was always in my collection of Durand Art Glass. It measure 10" across and is 5" high handle. This serving tray has 2 Pulled Feathers also called Peacock.
One is gold and white, the other feather is blue and white. The handle in the middle is made of Ambergris yellow also called "oil glass" by the workers. The top of the handle has a opal white button. The diamond pattern cutting is very well done and was probably cut blue to clear by Charles Link while at Durand.
Durand made some wonderful cuttings on his glass. Please note: This is subject to prior sale. Create listings that get noticed!
