This beautiful lamp will be an heirloom for future generations. I had five of these and now have only one left. It was made in 2005 for the 100th Anniversary of Fenton Art Glass. Designer Stacy Williams created the "Floral Filigree" design based on a 16th century manuscript design of florals and scrollwork.
It has not only the beautiful Burmese shade but a Burmese painted base as well! This is brand new in the original box.
I unpacked it for the first time to take photos. It is handpainted, numbered, and signed by the artist.
It is double boxed and packed well. All the original paperwork is included. Fenton closed their factory in 2011 so these lamps will be hard if not impossible to find. Fenton lamps are prized as collectors do not want to part with them.Burmese is one of the more sought after colors as it was made with pure gold. When lit, this lamp glows with a blushing pink color. I was a gold showcase dealer for twenty years until closing my store last year. See my other listings for the matching basket that was a showcase dealer exclusive.
