Fenton New World Cranberry Opalescent Wine Glass
Very rare Fenton New World Cranberry Opalescent Wine Glass. Introduced by Fenton in 1953 and discontinued in 1954. Beautiful Fenton New World was designed by Stan Fistick in an attempt to bring some of their art glass into the 1950s contemporary world. Public acceptance of this contemporary style glassware was slow to develop so it was only produced from 1953 to 1954 when it was discontinued.

New World was produced in three different colors; cranberry, lime, and dusk (a varation of grey with a black stopper). Hard to find pieces include bowls, plates, cruets, and the wine glasses.

All Fenton New World pieces are hand blown and as such may have air bubbles or slight pattern differences. I will sell the lot of 6 at a discounted price. Message me for more information. Some items we list may not be returnable.
