MCM Blenko Glass Floor Decanter Genie Bottle 5815L 29.5 Tangerine Wayne Husted

This iconic design was produced in small, medium, and large sizes; this is the large size of 5815. The piece measures 29.5" tall and 10.5" wide at the base, and displays beautifully. Designed by Wayne Husted, one of Blenko's most famous designers.

Excellent vintage collectible condition, as pictured, displaying only the flaws common to blowing glass by hand, such as bubbles and slight irregularities in the glass. I have done my best to picture these where I found them. None of these flaws detracts from the beauty of this amazing piece.

Stopper marriage was loose, hence the Parafilm wrap around the stem to make it sit where I thought it should. No damage is noted to the base or the stopper; no cracks, chips or scratches to my eye (check photos). A real investment piece of midcentury modern art glass by Wayne Husted. Gorgeous; a midcentury modern icon, in "the" midcentury color, and identifiably Wayne Husted at a glance. Husted's larger pieces like this are disappearing from the market at an alarming rate.
