Mt Washington Burmese Art Glass Jar/Vase 5 Wide, Flowers Decoration Superb Cond
An uncommon shape in Burmese glass by Mt Washington, a heat-sensitive art glass done in the 1880's. Great coloring from yellow to salmon pink. Books sometimes call this shape a "Jar without Lid". Small opening at top has a gold trim line. Body hand decorated in enameled floral sprays and vines or stems.
Just 3-1/2" tall, 5-1/4" wide. No chips or cracks, clean and bright, close inspection finds one tiny enamel flower petal chipped. A very fine piece of Genuint MTW Burmese.
Does flouresce brightly in UV test. The item "Mt Washington Burmese Art Glass Jar/Vase 5 Wide, Flowers Decoration Superb Cond" is in sale since Friday, September 11, 2020.
