For your consideration, a large art glass vase by Orient & Flume, double decorated with platinum pulled feather and fish scale patterning, accompanied by its original studio registration card naming it Blue Iriscene Ribbed Twist. This vase, along with many of our other listings, is being offered at no reserve. Grounded in cobalt and draped in complex allover decoration, this vase is visually electrifying from all angles.
Fashioned in jeweled peacock shades of blue, purple, and green and finished in platinum; the patterning of pulled feathers descends downward from the vases slender neck to its bulbous shouldering where it meets an intricate design of fish scales in the same vibrant palette. The decoration continues to both the rolled rim where it meets an electric ocean-blue interior wash and the padded basal rim where the vase is properly signed ORIENT & FLUME 1985O68. The accompanying registration card from Orient & Flume bears a matching registration number. Very good to excellent with minute bubbles in making.
