Vintage Steuben Art Glass Gold Aurene Pedestal Sherbet Bowl & Underplates 2680 (1 of 5). We are proud to offer these wonderful set of Steuben pedestal sherbert bowls and underplates. These have a beautiful iridence inside the dishes and the top of the underplates. Bottom of the underplate and the outside of the sherberts is white calcite. They have been identified as the Frederick Carder Steuben design #2680.
The color is gold aurene over calcite. The sherberts and underplates have the letters LCT scratched on the bottom of each piece.We do believe that this was added later and misidentified as Tiffany. Since these were hand blown without molds, there is some normal variations between the pieces. We are technically pricing each set of sherbert and underplate separately. You can select the number of sets up to the 5.
It is a very visually pleasing look. Your creativity is your only limitation for its uses. It is a wonderful estate set to start or add to your collection. If you have any questions please ask! The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. LCT is scratched into the bottom of the sherberts and underplates. Since these items were previously used and loved, there will be small scratches and signs of wear. We feel these characteristics are part of the history of these wonderful things and should not detract from the use of them today. There are reflections in the photographs. We have not altered, cleaned, or polished this estate item in any way. Don't miss out on this really wonderful item! There is some variation of size between pieces within the set as typical for these hand blown items. Height of each sherbert is about 4 inches.Sherbert diameter at the top is about 4 inches and 2 5/8 inch at the bottom. Underplates diameter range beween 5 7/8 inch to 6 1/4 inch. Underplate height is about 1 inch. The sooner you pay, the sooner you get your item.
