TS Northwood Peacocks or Peacocks on the Fence Amethyst Plate

Northwood Peacocks or Peacocks on the Fence Amethyst Plate! We will be listing many treasures that are extremely rare over the upcoming weeks from our own collection. This is a highly sought after carnival glass pattern. It is called either Peacocks or Peacocks on the Fence.

It was produced during the 1910's-to 20's by the Northwood company. The base glass color is amethyst or purple. The back has a rayed pattern. The front features a pair of peacocks standing on a fence and surrounded by a floral pattern. This is one of the most highly sought after of all carnival patterns. The iridescence is eye catching and in excellent condition. Add some wonderful colors to your collection with this magnificent piece. This is for the best of collections! Size is 9" wide and 1 1/2" tall.

There is no damage I can find other than the usual straw marks from its production and 1 indention on its base that appears to be where the glass rod was disconnected when blowing. There are no chips or cracks. Make room on the Top Shelf for this one! Many of the pieces we are offering were used for the actual photographed items used in numerous reference books including.

Dave Petersons Vaseline Glass: Canary to Contemporary. Dave Petersons The Lost Chapters.

Dave Petersons Vaseline Glass Rarities. Sue Daviss The Picture Book of Vaseline Glass. Sue Daviss Pictorial Guide to Vaseline Glass. Mike Carwiles Opalescent Glass, seventh edition.
