VINTAGEVERY RARE STEUBEN FOR HAVILAND AURENE GLASS FOOTED OPEN SALT. VERY RARE BEAUTIFUL AURENE GLASS ITEM!! THE PIECE IS IN GREAT ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH NO REPAIRS.

This gorgeous footed flower form Gold Aurene art glass open salt was made by Steuben Glass. The bottom of the salt is signed with the Steuben mark of AURENE, HAVILAND & CO. From 1910 to 1915 Steuben made glass for Haviland & Co. NY and used a Haviland signature paint stamp mark, It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the body...

There are some chips and nicks around the feet that do not seem to keep it from sitting steady. This beautiful piece would be a fabulous addition to your antique salt or Steuben collection!! Frederick Carder patented the name"Aurene" glass for the Steuben Company. This type of glass is the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
