Victorian Mt Washington Phoenix Diamond Quilted Satin 1880s Salt & Pepper Shaker

PAIR OF 2 VICTORIAN MT WASHINGTON PHOENIX DIAMOND QUILTED SATIN 1880'S SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS 2 PC. SET This RARE set of Salt & pepper shakers measure approx. 3.5" tall by 1.5" diameter. 2 wide across the middle.

The tops are an unknown metal? They have the pictured wear and pitting. They are stuck on both bottoms.. I cannot get them off.. For fear of breaking these, I will leave that up to the new owner. Maybe you know a way or want to use them for display only.. The lovely diamond quilted bottoms are free from any chips or cracks. I did not try to clean the glass, there is some slight discolorations, not really very bad, but due to the very rare nature of these, I did not want to damage them. They are still a great looking early set!
