8 Cobalt Blue English Copeland Spode Burley & Co Chicago Soup Bowls Bouquet

The gold decoration is exemplary. The gold motifs include very detailed bouquet, scrollwork and shell elements. Also they have very fine gold stippled accents. They are marked on the bottom as shown, and also carry the Burley & Co Chicago gold crown retailer's mark.

In addition, they carry impressed date ciphers and decorator's marks. Is known to have carried some of the finest Copeland china produced, and these bowls are a very good example of Spode's finest work! Condition: One plate has a rim hairline shown in the last two close-up images.

No other chips, cracks or repairs! Very slight antique wear throughout.

Gold is in very good condition. They have been cabinet kept, rarely if ever used, and carefully cherished for over 100 years. Please view all of the images, as they are part of this description.

The images depict color variations; but they are all the same deep cobalt blue color. 1 1/2" X 8" in diameter.
