Iridescent Studio Art Glass Jack-in-The-Pulpit Vase Unknown Maker / Not Signed / Superb Quality. Impressive Iridescent Art Glass Jack-in-The-Pulpit Tulip Vase. The "tulip" form at the top is 5¼ wide. The base glass color appears to be aqua blue.
The iridescent sheen seems to be primarily gold with a brilliant rainbow sheen. I know nothing about this type of art glass. There are no identifying markings. Age unknown, acquired from the estate of an avid glass collector. I have posted images of this on various glass chat blogs, and it has been suggested that this resembles Steuben Aurene, Lundberg, Orient & Flume, and several other glass studios, however I have not been able to definitively identify who made this. Again, it is not signed. The quality is superlative, and it is absolutely gorgeous! Please feel free to ask questions. No chips, no cracks and no scratches. No wear to the iridescence.Photographed in daylight beside a window. Any bright areas of glare / shadows / reflections are from lighting. A delightful addition to your collection!
