Ant. Monroe Nakara Kelva Wavecrest Dresser Ring Trinket Jar

This is an antique hand-painted Monroe Nakara or Wavecrest small dresser ring or trinket jar. I don't see a mark but it has that paper sticker that I have on a few other of my Wavecrest pieces so it could be marked under it. It is 2 3/8" in diameter at the bottom and is about 2 1/8" high. It has the original lining which is in pretty good condition with a little line tearing on the bottom as seen in the last photo but is hard to notice. Condition is very good but there is no clasp.

There is a little minor wear to the metalwork. A great piece in a nice miniature size for rings. Please look at the pictures carefully with the mouse for conditions and ask questions. A very nice ebayer has just informed me that this is a ring box and they never had a clasp. Makes it rarer in my opinion.
