Antique RARE MT WASHINGTON GLASS QUEEN'S BURMESE Art Glass Vase

Up today in our continuing offering from this excellent collection of beautiful vintage art glass is this RARE antique Mt Washington Glass beautifully decorated QUEEN'S BURMESE tear-drop (or gourd) shaped long-neck vase. Not many of these pieces around! This piece is colorful, well-executed and looks great on display in any setting.

The vase has nice burmese shading from dusty rose to yellow and then handpainted in the familiar scroll- ing vine design with enameled flowers, leaves and branches. The interior of the leaves, buds and flowers are dotted with enamel (leaves with colored background) and the branches all done in dark gold enamel, giving the piece depth and character, almost like a three dimensional painting. Overall the vase is in very good condition but there are a few faint spots of discolor- ation in several places... The enamel dots are in great condition with hardly any surface wear.

It goes for about 3 then fades. Hard to say and difficult to photograph as I tried to do so in one on the included shots. Still a precious piece that would be a premier addition to any collection.

Measures 11-3/4" tall x 6" in diameter. Questions are welcome and thanks for looking. UPDATE ON CONDITION: I have examined the vase further and have done a light test and the line is not a crack. They don't effect the appearance of the vase at all. The light test showed no cracks in the piece.
