This is a lovely Antique early 20th century Carder Era Steuben art Glass Gold Aurene Iridescent Globe Lamp Shade. This shade is in Excellent Condition with only a few small scuffs on the outside, no chips or cracks. The shade measures 6 1/2" tall x 6 3/4" wide x 3 1/4" at the lower outer rim, the inner rim is 2 5/8" and the shade weighs approximately 2lb 1oz. Wonderful unique and rare shape, in the Steuben catalog it is shade # 973. The gold iridescence throughout is fantastic, great free form with a very unique shape. A great example of Steuben this Lamp Shade would make a great addition to anyone's collection or home. The base fixture appears to be brass but Im not certain. The diameter of the fixture is 10 and when the shade is attached to the fixture it is 10 tall. The fixture has white paint around the rim of the base which Im sure can be removed.
