Antique VICTORIAN Art Glass PHOENIX or MT WASHINGTON MOP RIBBED ZIPPER Pitcher

Nice rarely-seen antique Mt Washington or Phoenix Mother of Pearl or Air Trap cased cranberry colored pitcher in the ribbed "Zipper" pattern. The pearlized satin square-top pitcher also features a clear frosted vine-type applied handle and white cased interior. The pitcher is solid and substantial in weight from the layers of glass and is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or fractures within the layers. The square shaped mouth is configured diagonally and appears as though it were a diamond shape. As shown in one photo, there are some visible tool marks around the inside of the rim along the casing, presumably in shaping the mouth rim.

Some very slight color refraction around the handle, most likely some settled dust from age. There are also two darker spots or inclusions from the firing, also shown but not too obvious as they are close to the handle.

The pitcher measures 7-3/4"t x 6-1/2" in diameter plus the handle projection. Questions welcome and thanks for looking.
