Apricot & Honeycomb Yellow Ware Milk Bowl with Bail Handle Farmhouse #10 Antique

Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features a Honeycomb Pattern on the Rim and Four Medallions with Apricots Separated by Foliage around the Middle. Original bail handle but does have wear on the paint.

Why take a chance at it dropping to the floor if the handle were to come loose. Measures 5 1/2" tall and 10.25 " wide across the top. A fine discussion of this bowl is found in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, pp. This beautiful bowl has been in my collection for years and I feel it's time to share it.

It is a nice large size. It does have a few condition issues but displays nicely. There is a crack that shows through, it runs from the middle up the side but doesn't go all the way to the top. It has a glaze pop on inside rim, a few glaze pops on the outside. This bowl has been much loved.
