Barakonyi Pottery Hungary Folk Art Nesting Bowl Set/3 Signed

Barakonyi Nesting Bowl Set of 3. Gorgeous set of three nesting, mixing bowls. Please see a little about the artist. These are in excellent condition. 12" x 7.5" 8" x 5.5" 6" x 3.5". I attended the Handicrafts School of the Budapest Cultural Center, where I was trained as an art teacher. In 1996 I received the Pomegranate Prize for my teaching. In 1997 I won the title "Young Master of Folk Art". I regularly participate in exhibitions and competitions with my products.

In 2006, the Folk Arts Council awarded me the title Artisans. My workshop mainly produces consumer goods: dishes for cooking and baking, cups, service, containers, wall plates. The objects are painted by hand and reflect the world of folk motifs. The traditional forms I produce with refractory and lead-free glaze.
