Blenko Glass #5427-L Giant Gurgle Bottle By Wayne Husted in Charcoal & Crystal. This listing is for a Blenko Glass #5427-L Gurgle Bottle. Designed by Wayne Husted in 1954. This is a huge early piece. The color is Charcoal & Crystal. This gurgle bottle measures 27 inches tall to the top of the stopper. The substantial stopper measures 5.5 inches in diameter. Condition: No chips, flakes or cracks. There are a few light scratches on the bottom ball and scratching on the bottom from the bottle being slid across the floor over the years. The glass is very thick and dark. Its hard to see inside the bottle. In normal light it looks fine.

In the brightest morning sunlight outside I can see some interior water marks upon close inspection. Manufacturing flaw: There is fogging on the inside of the sealed crystal top (see last picture), which resulted from the glass blowing process.
