WASHINGTON Figural CHICK Head Salt SHAKER--Opal Glass w/Floral Enamel. Offered for sale is this Victorian figural art glass salt shaker. It is the famous "Chick Head" design made at the Mount Washington Glass Company.

The opal glass has an unusual "orange peel" texture and is decorated with enamel work of delicate pink flowers. The shaker measures about 2 1/4" high and 2 1/2" across. It is in very good estate condition with no apparent damage, wear or restoration found.

Unfortunately I have been unable to remove the top--decided that it was better to leave it as is rather than take the chance of damage.
