Carder Steuben Calcite Blue Aurene Handled Basket Shape 453

This Steuben basket is from the Frederick Carder reign of Steuben. The blue iridizing is beautiful alongside the white calcite. There are no cracks or chips. You will find a picture of this style basket on the Carder Steuben shape index. The handle is blue Aurene, the handle is finished with swirl prints. On the bottom is the style number of A Co-453-8 hand written.

I don't know if the Co should have been Ca for Calcite? The 8 probably refers to 8. It is 8" across but the handle stands a little higher than 8", as indicated with the pictures.
