Fenton Glass Coin Dot Cranberry Opalescent Vase with a Ruffled and Crimped rim. This is Fenton's ware number 1458CR. This stunning vase was first produced in 1947 and discontinued in 1962. Coin Dot is often confused with Coin Spot. The Coin Dot pattern has colored dots (in this case Cranberry) and the area between the dots is opalescent.
Coin Spot is the reverse. This vase measures 8 1/4 inches to the highest part of the rim and 8 1/2 inches across the rim. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There is an extra bubble in the glass above the top row of "dots". There are also a few light scratches on the outside where something must have brushed against it.
