Fenton Blue Overlay Charleton Painted Pansy Vanity Perfume Cologne & Powder Set
Fenton's Blue Overlay with Charleton Handpainted flowers Vanity or Dresser Set. This is a gorgeous "Blue Overlay with AWCO Charleton Handpainted (I believe flowers are) Pansies" 6 piece vanity or dresser set (#192) done in the melon-shape. Has two 7" tall (from bottom to tip of stopper) and 3" diameter cologne bottles with original ribbed stoppers. The powder box is about 3¾" tall (to tip of stopper) and 4¼" diameter.
Circa 1940's, so it is pre-logo, but does still have the Charleton sticker on the bottom of the powder box. All pieces are in excellent condition. One stopper does have a funny cut bottom - looking slightly like a chip - but doesn't show when sitting inside bottle. It looks to me like it was cut this way in the process of making it.
There is a slight chip on edge of it for sure. Once inside bottle it doesn't show or interfere with closing. Otherwise, there are no chips or cracks in any other pieces. Each piece has some gold loss, but very much still visible gold designs.
The pansies are all very well painted and I see no loss of that paint. All pieces sit smooth & level. If you have any questions, or need further pictures, just ask.
