Fine & Rare Vintage STEUBEN CHINESE BUDDHA Art Deco Glass Lamp c. Fine & Rare Vintage STEUBEN CHINESE BUDDHA Art Glass Lamp , circa 1930. FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is an original factory-mounted Steuben art glass Buddha, mounted as a lamp. The piece has a painted brown metal base in a Chinese style, and a Steuben art glass figure of a Buddha.

Both the glass and the base are in excellent condition. It resembles a Chinese-mounted carved rock crystal figure of Kwan Yin, these were popular during the Art Deco period, and this is Steuben's response to this Oriental collectible.

There are no chips, cracks, or scratches to the figure, and the metal base is free of damage with some light wear to the painted base. The lamp has been professionally rewired, and is in excellent condition. The glass figure measures 9.5" x 4" wide, and with the base, it stands 13.25 tall.
