Up for your consideration is a signed Tiffany table lamp with a dark blue Cypriote glass insert, between two gilt bronze mounts. The lamp was made as a collaboration between Tiffany and the Cassidy Company, where Tiffany made the glass, which was subsequently mounted by Cassidy based on Tiffany designs.
This example has the Tiffany Furnaces mark on the underside, and is numbered "15700". The Cypriote glass is a rich purple, with a lava-like texture. It is thick, and is especially beautiful when illuminated from above.
The purple versions are much rarer than the gold Tiffany inserts than were used. The lamp measures 22 tall from the base to the top where the finial goes. The glass portion is 6" x 4".
Overall, the lamp is in very good condition. The only concern is a flaw underneath the bottom mount as shown in the last photo. There is also a faint ring in the same area at the tip of the "fronds" extending from that same area. This apparently occurred from turning the glass with the mounts over time. Otherwise, there are no condition concerns.
The lamp is complete, original, and in excellent working order. It has been professionally rewired, and is ready for immediate use. This quote is for the Continental U. These charges are the buyers responsibility.
