Huge Blenko Optical Twist Decanter, 1970, Surf Green

This stunning Blenko decanter stands 23 inches tall with the stopper (16 1/2 inches tall without). The design #6938 was only made for 2 years starting in 1969 and the color, surf green, was only available for one year, 1970.

Has a wonderful twist in the body to make optical patterns with color and light. Large lozenge stopper 7 5/8 inches long. Both decanter and stopper are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks or residue, only a couple of bubble inclusions see last two photos. NOTE: It was hard to get the color just right in the photos; it is on the greenish side of turquoise.
