MT WASHINGTON PEACH BLOW HP BRIDES, CENTER, BERRY BOWL SUPERB! Washington/Pairpoint hand painted, Peach Blow bowl that shades from a beautiful semi-deep pink at the top to a soft bluish-gray at the base. The exact decorations on this bowl are shown in Betty Sisks.
Wash #2182 and it was made circa 1885 1895. It is decorated with raised enamel dot, white and orange florals with pale green leaves and stems. It has a tightly crimped rim and measures a tad over 7 ¼ across the top, 4 ¼ tall and 4 across the base that has a perfectly round and perfectly centered polished pontil. When thumped, it rings like the finest bell and for more than 6 seconds in duration.You can see in the pictures that show the base, that this bowl has sat in a holder of some kind, but I do not have the holder. The decorations are 100% intact and this piece is in virtually MINT condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, fleas, damage or repairs.
