Pair Antique Lobed Moser Lobmeyr Hexafoil Colored Glass Finger Bowl & Plate. For your consideration are 2 antique glass hexafoil (6) lobed finger bowls with the matching under plates. Possibly late 1800s or very early 1900s.

A superb gilded and hand painted early blown glass with the Art Nouveau design characteristics with hand painted floral medallions and copious gold scrolled decoration. They are unmarked, but Lobmeyr, Moser and Josephinehutte made very similar glassware.

There is a cranberry wash on top of the gold gilding and there is some loss to this on all of the items that are for sale. Close inspection will reveal there are chips to under plates that are the size of a flea bite. There are no cracks or anything major except for the paint wear due to being used and washed. These are way over 100 years old so this is to be expected unless they have been restored.

These show no signs of restoration. Approximate size: Bowl - 5" Diameter, 2" tall; Plate - 5.75" diameter and 1" tall. We take pride in our packing and never skimp on packing materials. We pay to insure your items.
