Here is one of the finest American Colander in original condition. The bottom of the colander includes 20 holes arranged in a snowflake pattern and there are a series of holes arranged in diamonds around the side of the bowl, towards the bottom all of these holes appear to have been hand drilled or pushed. There is an extra 2 holes near the rim so that it can be hung by a cord.

Measures approximately 9.5" in diameter and 4 1/4" high including the. The Calander has no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.

It rings like a bell when snapped with your finger and at most, there are some very faint glaze lines on the bottom, and a very tiny and faint line about 1 long down from the top edge visible only at certain angles and does not go through.
