Rare Antique Haeger Pottery Grecian Bowl with 2 Handles in Blended Glazes #E-31

This bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. There are, however, small glaze drips and skips, tiny glaze pops, and a glaze rub at one outer edge.

The base is impressed with Haeger's diamond stamp, one of the earliest marks for Haeger's artware pieces. There is also a partial Haeger paper label on the base, and tiny stilt marks are visible.

This piece is just over 2-1/2" tall, 8-1/2" wide at the buttressed handles, almost 7-1/2" wide at the shoulder, and 6" wide at the top rim opening. The glaze finish is a beautiful blend of matte and semi-matte green and brown drip glazes. The drip finish produces a gorgeous mottled effect both inside and out. This bowl is presumed to have been gently used but is very clean. Check out all 12 photos! This stunning, harder-to-find piece would look amazing in your favorite display cabinet.
