Vintage Fenton "Poppy" GWTW Lamp - RARE Color. Here is a gorgeous vintage Fenton Art Glass GWTW (gone with the wind style) parlor lamp in cased Lavender. PLEASE NOTE This is not Lavender Satin.

It missed the satinizing process. According to the Fenton Art Glass Colors Book 1939 - 1980, pages 84/85, many pieces in the Lavender Satin line missed the satinizing process and were left glossy. I have included a picture of the page that describes this color. This color is unique as it contains an expensive element called neodymium which is dichroic, meaning it changes hue depending on the light it is exposed to. Fenton introduced this color in early 1977 and discontinued it in late 1978.

Fenton ware #9101LN (but not satinized). No chips, flea bites or cracks.

Lamp measures 24" tall x 8" in diameter. Lamp itself weighs 8lbs 14 oz. I will take the top globe off the base and wrap each piece separately.

This 3-way lamp lights up on the top and bottom and works well. It has the key style knob to turn the lamp on and off. It also comes with the hurricane insert.
