Scarce Royal Vienna Germany Purple/Amethyst opulescent VaseDiana the Huntress
Per my research, this is an R. Scarce Royal Vienna Germany Purple/Amethyst opulescent Vase. 7 3/4 tall, 2 3/4 at the widest point. Across the top and just under 5 across the base. 1 7/8 across the top edge. The vase features a portrait of Diana the Huntress on two sides.
The first shows her lying sprawled out in a white dress with blue, working with flowers. The other side shows her seated in a red dress with White Bodice holding her bow while reaching into a bag of arrows. There are gold flowers encircling both pictures.
Gold flowers and ferns adorn the remainder of the vase. The white portrait area is outlined with ra8sed gold dots. There is an imperfection between the two portraits that appears to be from when it was made, as I can not feel a break or roughness on the vase, and the gold dots remain raised in this area. You can see some of the colors bleed over into the inside top edge of the vase.
