Steuben Art Glass Plum Jade Acid Cut Back Bowl Carder Medallions

STEUBEN PLUM JADE ACID CUT BACK BOWL WITH MEDALLIONS. The bowl is about 3-1/4" tall and 6" in diameter. The striking color is rich plum called plum jade. The bowl has a slight irregularity to the rim that either occurred in the making or is a repair. I really do not know which but it looks like there is a popped bubble where the light lavender meets the dark plum glass of the exterior.

It also has a popped bubble to the exterior, occurring in the manufacture, and a pinpoint size unpopped bubble to the interior pictured in the last photo above. Please disregard the light reflections when viewing this. The tiny raised area is above and slightly to the left of the light reflections. This fine bowl is pictured in Gardner's The Glass of Frederick Carder , plate 2928.
