Beautiful mid-century Steuben Matsunoke footed compote. Compote has a round flared rim and a softly ribbed pedestal with blue to the upper rim and foot, as well as the blue Mansunoke type decoration on either side of the applied handles just beneath the bowl. Clean, sophisticated, and timeless and hard to find piece. 5 3/4" high; 6 7/8" in diameter at the rim. Not signed; guaranteed authentic; appears to be form 3305.
In very good to excellent undamaged, un-repaired condition with no chips, cracks, or repair. There is one small trapped speck that is in the making and there may be a few other expected, non-distracting manufacturing flaws such as trapped air. The Glass of Frederick Carder , Paul Gardner.
