Steuben Green Jade Engraved to Alabaster York Art Glass 8 Plate(s)

For your consideration is this stunning vintage art glass plate made by Americas premier glass maker, Steuben Glass. These plates are made prior to 1933 (having either the block letter or fleur de lis mark). The Engraved pattern consisting of swags, dots and floral clusters is the York pattern. The plates are white glass base (called alabaster by Steuben) over cased with jade green glass. The jade is engraved with the York pattern around the raised plate edge.

The plates are 8 in diameter. The edge of the plate raises approximately ¾ tall. The rim of the plate is 1 ½ wide, with a plate face of approximately 5.

The plates have some minor surface ware and scratches on the underside, but are in overall fine age appropriate condition. One plate has some air bubble inclusions in the alabaster under glass.
