VTG Blenko Glass Spool Decanter 587L 36 Architectural Scale Husted Turquoise

This is the largest of this Husted designed line. This piece measures 36 tall with the stopper. This one has an etched mark on the bottom, dating it to around 1959.

I believe this is blenko's "turquoise" color. This piece is in very good shape overall. No major cracks, chips or repairs. There are a few tiny flea bites around the lowest bout, and some small chips on the bottom of the stopper. The stopper has a 1 scratch/scuff mark, this is only visible from some angles.

At some point, somebody used this decanter as a planter. There is a small amount of residue remaining inside. Though it looks fantastic as is, I'm sure this could be cleaned.
